this is just a little masochistic

I occasionally entertain thoughts of a political career. But nights like this, in which I stay up much later than usual to watch election returns, make me wonder if I really want to go through this as an actual candidate.

All I want to see is who will win the State Senate race and the local judicial elections here in the Panhandle. And it looks like that blasted Tom DeLay is getting renominated. Go figure.

And of course, there's the matter of someone very close to me, and my obvious vested interest in that one.
