duly impressive...or is it dully impressive?

Some friends and I got caught up in a little game today. The rules? Take a word, then add, subtract, or delete one letter to make a new word. Then give it a definition. This game gave me hours of enjoyment in between phone calls from angry attorneys. These are just the ones I came up with in my "free" time.

gallowes: n. - the checkout line at a home improvement store

coorss: n. - the sixth in a pack of Coors
